How do I decorate a small living room?
How to decorate a small living room with only 2 walls and one large window. Finding the right spot for television and chairs has really been hard because out of the two walls, one is a shelf and placement of furniture doesn't ever fill right.

Any more photos? In my house I only have one wall. Do you want photos of mine?
Hi Jennifer ,
Could you put television on shelf ? Is shelf stationery or movable ?
Try angling chairs in front of window with lamp/table in the middle .
Do you have a sofa ?
Jennifer, this picture doesn't help too much, but let's see. Let's start with the tv, since that has the most limitations on it. If I understand the situation correctly, the only wall you can put it on is the solid wall (without the shelves?), so go ahead and put it there on some kind of console/chest/skinny table.
Now, place the sofa under the window and two chairs on the-wall-with-the-shelf, placing a small table between them, under that shelf. Everything does not have to be lined up to face the tv. You can get a swivel base/lazy susan type of thing to use to pivot the tv towards you, if need be. (Or, you can wall mount the tv, and the swivel thing is available for wall mounts, also. This way, if you do not have a dining space, you can put a small dining table against the wall under the tv.)
This seems rather obvious to me, so I am sure I am missing something. Please write back if this doesn't work and I will try to help you further.
My only suggestion would be to make sure your furniture fits the size of the room, use a love seat instead of a full sofa...etc..
