How can I decorate this slanted staircase to make it stand out?
I need to hang family photos up on a slanted wall (stairs way). But I would like for it to stand out. I have different sizes of 8x10 and 5x7 black frames. Do I need to add a colored frame here and there? Does it need to be hodgepodge or patterned? What would I need to add to make it an eye catcher? Ideas??

If you painted the wall in an eye catching color and use white mats around the photos, they’ll stand out for sure.

Hanging a Gallery Wall Quickly and Easily
Start in the center you want to be the main focus and build from there. If you have a larger portrait size pic use that or maybe get a large frame that holds multiple pictures. Need many different colored frames and sizes. Dont spread apart too much. Try to keep them no more than 3" apart. Add a few wall art items in mix like little mirrors , child art , architectural salvage . To make it an eye catcher, mix it up. Little Johnny pictures from birth to marriage can get boring.
I love the family tree murals with the pictures placed along the limbs. I'd start by painting an enormous tree at the base of the stairs with several large limbs travelling up then branching out with smaller ones. My favorite pic would be in a large oval frame on the tree trunk.😊
It depends on the look you are going for, but I would have the pictures reprinted in black and white, paint the wall a beautiful accent color, and spray paint all your frames in either black or white depending on your preference. To add a pop of color, you can paint just a few of the frames in either the opposite (black if your frames are white) or do a few of the frames a vivid color that works with your accent wall color--like an aqua wall with bright lime green frames, or a blue wall with yellow frames -it depends on your decor choices that work with the room the stairs are in. I would scatter these few frames among the white (or black) frames for interest. Going with black and white pics will unify your pictures and give you a more upscale look. Also consider doing the pictures from floor to ceiling. I did this with a wall of mirrors on my stair wall. Pictures look great when they go all the way from floor to ceiling. You could also spray all the frames silver or gold.
