How do I refinish furniture using chalk paint?

Just clean and lightly sand then paint. Strongly recommend using Rustoleum chalk paint and their top coat. Very easy, affordable and can mix in any color.

Hi Colette! I can tell you how to paint with Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint :)

It is super easy to paint with Dixie Belle.

Step one: Clean with White Lightning

Step two: Apply two coats of Slick Stick if the surface is slippery, or two coats of BOSS if you are concerned with bleed through

Step three: Paint one to two coats of Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint

Step four: Use Gator Hide for a water-repellent finish, or any of our clear coats for extra protection

No sanding required!
