How do I clean the leather sleeves of a 70 year old jacket?



Husband's Football LetterMan jacket has been hanging in family room since the 70's ,cleaned the woolen material part,but didn't know what to use on Leather sleeves! Any ideas? Thanks.

    You can use a leather cleaner made for furniture and cars.

    You can find leather cleaners in large stores like Walmart, Amazon, and DIY stores.

    Hi: You can use flaxseed oil to clean and condition the leather. If you don't have flaxseed oil, you can also condition leather with coconut oil; it's hypoallergenic and won't spoil. Clean the leather first, using vinegar and water or an ounce of dish detergent in cool water. Rub in the oil with a soft rag and that should do it. Good luck

    Lexol Leather cleaning and conditioning products do an excellent job on leather coats, gloves, sofas, etc.
