A spud! It's a heavy ended pusher thingy that will remove the tile when you push it along the floor. Check your local Home Depot, or someplace similar, and ask for a "spud." We removed almost 900 sq yds of old asbestos tile with one. I just looked at Amazon and found several by searching "floor tile removing tool." Good luck with the project!
A long handle ice scraper.
Try boiling water poured onto the flooring before scraping. See if that helps loosen the adhesive.
