How do I clean my electric range burner pans?
In the past, I have become so frustrated with keeping the burner pans on my electric range, I've thrown them out and bought new ones. However, I've never given up hope of finding a way to restore them.
I know they are not that expensive to replace, but why do that if there's a better way to reduce junk in the landfills. Any ideas would be appreciated.

What type of pans and what brand? Cookware can be expensive, very expensive, I only have a few pieces of Le Creuset and Staub due to the price. The rest is Calphalon and cast iron, they all clean up pretty easily. I am frugal and do not have the luxury of purchasing the same items over and over again.
I think y'all may have misunderstood me. I wasn't talking about cookware, I'm speaking about the drip pans under the burners. I would never pitch out my cookware. My Dad gave it to me and every time I cook, I'm reminded of my Dad. Furthermore, I do things on a budget too. Do you have any suggestion's about cleaning the black burned spills I didn't catch at the time?
I used to wrap my burner drip pans with aluminum foil....when dirty, just take off, throw away and put new foil on. Very inexpensive and works great. As for the black burned spills, I used to use a steel wool pad (SOS) to remove it. Aluminum foil works great for keeping the drip pans clean, however.
I use baking soda and vinegar. Just sprinkle a good amount and some vinegar to make a paste. You can let sit or not
