Can I use my hot glue gun to stick crystals to mirrors?

Is your counter laminate? Are you sure you want such a non smooth counter? I had tile and hated it after awhile, very hard to clean. How will you deal with edges and sink? Stones on edges would bump off easily.
I would think you would attach like mosaics for outside. Scuff up surface, use Construction adhesive like Liquid Nails to glue each one on. Fill in gaps with grout. Let dry several days then coat with polyurethane.
Sounds cool, just don't think would be practical. Good luck, post when done.
Last thought, use it as your back splash instead.
If the are flat they would be perfect and make an interesting counter. Use a latex modified thinset mortar to adhere them and grout the joints.
I don't think I would put the on as the countertop, way to much grout and a very uneven surface. How about make them into you backsplash?
