Call a carpet cleaning service that does upholstery cleaning too. Hopefully they can help.

  • Blot repeatedly with a damp tea or kitchen towel to soak up any remaining soap. Then get some leather conditioner and apply.

Lots of cloths or paper towels and blot.

    Hi Janie,

Blot up all you can with clean rags or dish towels. Is your Lazy Boy fabric or leather?

If leather go the leather conditioning route. If fabric blot with a damp cloth to dilute out the dawn dish soap. Let dry.

You might want to consider putting Scotch guard on fabric furniture.

How about wet the area and then shop vac? This might help pull the wet liquid with the Dawn out. May have to do it a few times.
