How do I remove pet stains?
My dog's urine seeped under the pads and blackened the wood threshold. Do I remove and replace the threshold or can the black stain be removed.

How do I remove dark pet stains on my finished hardwood floor?
i would like to remove this stain without having to refinish the entire room. Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you.
I read a Hometalk post just this morning about someone who'd refinished their wood floors with nothing but tung oil. Their floors had pet urine stains also, so the poster had sanded the floors down until the stain was completely gone. A lot of work, for sure, but it'd be gone and won't smell anymore.
Just the threshold....replace it. Easier than trying to clean it.
