How can I create privacy for windows but not lose beautiful sunshine?

I have a window that is directly across my neighbors kitchen eating area. I need the light from this window, so how can I create privacy for both but not lose the beautiful sunshine? I currently have wood like blinds. Thanks !!!

Contact makes a frosted film just for this purpose. I used it in my bathrooms.
Two ideas come to mind: Bottom up shades which attach to the bottom of your window and can be raised to any height so you have privacy on the bottom and still let in light up top; the other is privacy vinyl which you simply cut to fit with scissors, spray water on your window and smooth the vinyl onto the window. It is completely removable, comes in many styles, gives privacy while letting in the light.
there are window films that apply with a soap and water to stick to the glass. I put it on the bottom half of my windows, the top is naked. light comes in just fine.
Depends on your decor, but the bottom covered, top open idea sounds good. Picture lace or an embroidered sheer applied with starch. Directions on line.
Try a window cling film that is applied with water. The brand I purchased is called Rabbitgoo and I bought it off Amazon. It's very easy to install and if you don't want it any longer, you just peel it off.
