How do I remove latex paint from textured vinyl sheet flooring?

When I was painting the baseboards in the rooms with sheet vinyl floors, I put frog tape down as I usually do (successfully). But the vinyl flooring was jest textured enough (I guess) that it allowed paint under the tape. I've never had that happen with frog tape. How do I get the paint off without discoloring or damaging the vinyl floor?

While the paint is still not fully cured, you can soak a rag in hot water and press into the paint. Use a credit card to scrape it off. Just don't dig in. Repeat as necessary. Then use a clean wet rag to wipe off the haze.

Hi ! I would put a hot soapy washcloth over the area , and let it sit for a few minutes.

Then I would try a scrubbie , lightly or just use your fingernail...Good excuse for a new manicure , lol !

Is the paint dry? If dry you could try a bit of rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip to see if it lifts off the paint in a small inconspicuous.

So frustrating! I’ve done this with a plastic scraper and gentle pressure with success. :)

Thank you all... I did all those things without success; I'll try again. Maybe it didn't work because I didn't take the frog tape off until the next day
