Vinegar on walls and hard surfaces. Once removed, increase ventilation with a better exhaust fan with auto humidity sensor.

Replace vinyl shower curtain liners with fabric, water resistamt variety.

The exhaust fan should run during showers and for a minimum of 20-30 minutes after showers are completed.

Avoid using bath linens that were laundered with fabric softener. Use felted wool dryer balls, instead.

Wipe shower walls and ceiling with squeegee to remove additional water.

Keep home humidity level no higher than 40%.

Hi ! 2 steps are needed , one to clean it and next to prevent it ! First to clean it , products with bleach work best , but I can't take the fumes , so I use a vinegar and water solution with a few drops of dish detergent. I can handle a soft scrub with bleach I use it on the grout , scrub it in with a grout brush , or old toothbrush , let sit for about 15 minutes , the rinse . The bigger issue is why are you getting mold , here are tips to prevent it . Mold needs dampness , so keep your bathroom vent on when you shower and for about 15 minutes after you are done . If you don't have a vent , crack a window , if you don't have a window , keep your bathroom door open , after your shower. In all cases leave the bathroom door open for awhile after your shower , to let the steam and dampness out !!! A big help is keeping a squeegee in or next to the shower, use it on the shower walls and doors . by removing the excess water right away , there will be much less of a chance for mold to grow !

I dislike cleaning grout !!! So I don't it is easier to prevent it in the first place .

They do make products that you spray around your shower after you use it to help keep it clean and prevent mold , I haven't tried them, so I don't know how well they work .
