The last time I had to replace them they broke off, the bulb broke into pieces and separated from the socket
Hi Evelyn. You can try to use a potato. Cut it in half and stick it on the bulb base and try to turn the base out. Make sure the lamp is unplugged first. Good Luck!
Needle nose pliars, push between globe base and side, then squeeze and unscrew
The potato has worked for me. Whichever method you choose, BE SURE THE LAMP IS UNPLUGGED! Good luck.
Unplug lamp, cut small potato in half. place raw end in and turn.
Go with the needle nose pliers. I tried the potato & it didn't work. Pliers worked great on the light of my ceiling fan. Make sure the electricity is off.
I just did this the other day . I used tweezers . Worked like a charm.
