First, your question is not attached to a project
Second, I saw a project on you tube You use a special paint and bake it on. Look at YouTube for a tutorials on how to paint glassware.
There are now permanent "Sharpie" pens that you can use on glass to individualize glasses or cups. It is an oil-based pen...check the label on the pen well to get the permanent ones in various colors.
Any paint can be used. To make the paint permanent put the glasses on a cookie sheet on a cold oven. Set the oven to 200 degrees and turn it on for about a half an hour. Turn the oven off and let it totally cool down with the glasses still inside. The paint gets baked on.
