How to wash microfiber bath rugs?
I have microfiber rugs with rubber backing in my bathroom. How do you clean them? I have washed them in the washer in the past and the backing came off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Warm or hot water tends to remove the rubber backing on rugs. A cold water rinse is better.
That's the reason I gave up buying the kind with rubber backing. I think it's the agitation in the washer in my case. I tried gentle cycle and I used cold water but they still came apart. You could try hand washing in cold water but I switched to the non-backed rugs. They don't slip and I am very pleased.
I wash mine on gentle then hang them on a dryer rack to dry instead of the dryer which tends to make the backs come off here are other ideas

I agree, wash on cold and hang to dry.
Wash on cold, gentle cycle, with Woolite, or similar. No more than 2 small rugs at a time. Dry on a clothes line, reversing after 24 hours to fully dry other side.
