How do you repaint an outdoor fountain?
I have a large outdoor fountain that belonged to my Mother. It was white but most of the paint has worn away. It has a large bowl that sits on the ground with a statue in the center. I would like to know what kind of paint and prep is needed.

Concrete, iron, or aluminium?
I would try epoxy spray paint for appliances. All you have to do is make sure it is free from the old paint and clean. Spray it going back and forth in even sprays. It is waterproof and it is very easy. I have used it on kitchen knobs and pulls and also the bathroom sink. It has held up wonderfully and it doesn’t run or smear. It comes in black and white. Made by Rustoleum.
What is the fountain made of? Is it cement or fiberglass? The composition would help as they can be treated differently.
This is a concrete fountain.
