I like the frosted look. ( Lowe's probably has the product as they seem to have everything, ha ha!) I have seen windows/mirrors with designs or just solid frosting. It seems a quick and easy solution, but i have not done it myself yet. Best wishes!
I would remove them and re-paint area. Or buy a really big picture to cover the area.
What type of mirrors are you talking about? Are they mirror tiles applied to the wall?

The easiest and least expensive way, I think, would be to paint them.
Or decoupage them.
