How can I achieve a chippy finish on a large column?
Hi I painted a large Column with MMS Milk Paint. I wanted the chippy Look and of course it only got chippy in three areas. I was wondering if I could start over. The base was originally stained with gel stain ( a couple of years ago). Then I painted it with Milk Paint(farmhouse) If I repaint how can I achieve the chippy finish. Thank you for your helpMary

use a candle or wax melt to rub littles areas you want to chip away. After you have painted use a scraping tool to gently break away the paint. You may also use tape to lift it away.
