what would you suggest with mounting a 60-65" *PLASMA* TV?

LandlightS on Jun 19, 2012Ed....you have to decide if you want a flat mount bracket, a tilting bracket or an articulating bracket...which depends upon the location and viewing angles.....Almost all the brackets are suitable, but don't skimp on the cheapest. Additionally, you will want to have an electrical outlet installed in the immediate area of the mounting bracket as well as either and HDMI, Cat 5 or other communication cable to bring the signal to the screen and speaker wires (assuming you plan on surround sound) and the location of the equipment. Unless you are really handy, and knowing the construction of the old brownstones in Brooklyn (I lived at E19th & Cortelyou and Ocean Ave and Ave H before moving to the Village), you way want to use a Home Theater group to do the entire installation.Helpful Reply

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Jun 20, 2012We purchased a low cost tilt out mount for our 60 inch unit. It took me about half hour to assemble and put it on wall. Pretty simple thing. Just check the weight of the tv or follow the guidelines supplied by the mount for what size mount to get and you should be fine. We thought about using a unit that would tilt side to side, but way to expensive for the few times we would be using it.Helpful Reply
