Hello,
I find that peroxide is wonderful for blood removal.
My dog has poor circulation ( vasculitis) to his ear tips when they bleed ( head shaking) I wash the all the bloody splatter spots walls wood trim and floors with peroxide. It can even be purchased in spray bottles now.
It works wonderfully, I hope this helps.

Mix 1/2 tablespoon of liquid dish-washing detergent with 1 cup of cold water in a small bowl to make a detergent solution. Use the cloth to wipe the affected area and to remove the remaining blood. Rinse the area thoroughly using a damp cloth to remove any residue. Dry the hardwood floor with a dry towel or cloth.
Hi Cindy. I'm Cindy too. First blot the excess blood up with a paper towel. Don't rub, just blot. Then sprinkle baking soda on what blood remains. Next dip a brush in white vinegar and use it to gently scrub the blood stain. Then wipe the area thoroughly. If the stain persists, you could try using hydrogen peroxide. But be careful, it can bleach the floor. If you choose using hydrogen peroxide, apply some on a white cloth. Then scrub the blood stain gently with the cloth. And then wipe the entire area with a damp cloth. This will remove all residues. Allow to dry. Good luck Cindy.
