I have two just like that and I saved some ideas from Pintrest, with some tweaking, you could come up with a gem!
the feather one ,I’d stitch, or glue the quill end onto a ribbon to neaten it up a bit.
I might try something really different and go buy a roll of fringe and use tacky glue to glue fringe all around it in tiers.
