I'm assuming you don't have a garbage disposal that is clogged. All sinks have a P-Trap that forms a water seal to keep sewer gases from escaping into the house. Most likely you have a clog in the P-Trap. They are easy to clean by removing them. Place bucket or pan under the trap, loosen the nuts, and place the trap in the bucket. Invert the trap and the clog should come out. Rinse it out and put it back. the nuts only need to be hand tight.
Pour boiling water down the drain just be careful it will work it’s way just takes time
Take as much water out of drain as possible add 1/2 a box of baking soda then add 1 cup of vinegar leave for 1/2 hour then poure boiling hot water down drain
