What can I use to get black marks from the toilet due to plunging?
I have tried clorox bleach, scrubbing bubbles, and ammonia. I need help please!
Try a pumice stone (like an emery board, but larger and solid). Mine is about 4" long and 2" wide and came from the cosmetics department (nails section) of Walmart. Just rub it gently on the ring. They are not expensive. Good luck!
Use a pumie bar . its by the cleaning supplies in store. Follow directions . dont use it dry.
before going to bed add one cup of bleach to toilet water. use plastic wrap to cover top of toilet bowl. will be sparkling clean in morning. remember to let family members know that toilet is out of order til morning when you remove plastic wrap and flush.
Plastic dish gloves and plastic scrubby.
I have also used sanding sponges like the ones sold in paint aisle at the store. I like them better than pumice sticks because they have a little bit of flexibility. wear gloves, get the sanding sponge wet and gently scrub away the ring.
Try using denture cleaner. Drop it in the bowl at night about 4 tablets, flush in the morning. Also use Bar keepers friend to scrub clean if necessary.

Hi there, try denture cleaner. It usually works. If the stains are deep, look for an open weave hardware cloth (available at most hardware stores). It's what drywallers use to sand the walls. Start with 120 grit and work your way up to 80 grit if need be. Just be careful it can scratch porcelain surfaces. You will need to use scissors to cut it into manageable squares (it will sharpen your scissors at the same time which is a bonus)
