How many different colors for kitchen cabinets can I use?
just moved. kitchen cabinets are oak. appliaces are stainless steel. I use different shades of blue-green through out the house.
wanting to paint top cabinets white with turquoise inside open cabinet...to match a bookcase wall in same open-concept space.
no problem....yet.
so bottom cabinets I was thinking of a color the same as the SS appliances. I can't see that working.......or maybe??????

I've seen many kitchens with two different cabinet colors. I love the idea of the white on top and grey on the bottom. Be sure to prime them well first. I recommend this bonding primer for good adhesion.
Paint the bottom cabinets the same turquoise as inside upper cabinet. How fun, sounds great.
I, personally don't think it would work. But it's your home and you can do whatever you want. I would suggest that you paint the tops the way you said, then paint one cabinet on the bottom with the stainless steel look and see if you like it.
