How do I remove this embedded stain from bathroom sink?
The stain around the drain won’t come off w/scrubbing pads or pumice stone. It’s a tough stain. Seems to be embedded.
A pumice stone may help with this. I had one in my toilet and I used a pumice stone and it got it.
Thank you! Will it scratch?
Try a Mr Clean Magic eraser first. Im always surprised what they remove!
Make a paste of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Place it over the stain and leave it for an hour or two. Rinse away.
I know it's not officially recommended, but I've used toilet bowl cleaner (strong acid) to remove rust stains from my fiberglass tub. I don't leave it longer than needed, and I rinse well afterwards. I even run some water onto the tub!
Thanks everyone!
Try vinegar mixed with baking soda. Use a paper towel and let it sit awhile.
Pour 1/4 cup Baking Soda & 1/2 cup Vinegar into your sink (approximate measurements), & add a few drops of your favourite Essential Oil. The mixture will create a satisfying sudsy like foam. Wipe down with a sponge or brush and rinse with warm water. If there's any residue left from the Baking Soda, rinse again with a bit of Vinegar.
