How do I clean an oil stain on my unfinished wood floor?
My unfinished wood floor had oil from organic peanut butter spilled on it. How do I remove it. Or can I use vinegar as aforementioned to blend again w/ a darker color so stain winter be noticable. Also floors are 257 years old.!!!

I love old wood floors! This article has some instructions that may help you. https://www.doityourself.com/stry/remove-oil-stains-from-wood
I'm sure they are beautiful ... I'd try a 'degreaser' -- on a cotton swab in a VERY small area--JUST A DROP -- just apply and BLOT --- don't 'rub'... let it set for a few moments then blot with a clean white cloth or paper towel ... let dry, evaluate the results.
even a drop of blue DAWN/water on a cotton swab .. applied likewise to compare results.
I can't envision a floor that old that has not had an oil/wax finish applied thru the years even if never 'sealed' .... unless you had them sanded down. Usually really old floors are very dark with years of use/waxes, even if never 'sealed' with a varnish.
