The Shalom sign
How do I seal this?
I have a sign I painted for the front porch at synagogue. The base is canvas. I used exterior paints. Now, I need to seal it to protect it from sun (as sun goes down) and all. What kind of seal do I use it. Don’t want the dove to become yellow.

That is beautiful! I have used Miniwax poly over exterior paints before and it's worked well without yellowing. BUT I would paint a piece of scrap wood with that same white and seal it with the Minixwax poly, that's a good way to test it out and make sure it won't turn yellow on you!
Buy some polyurethane or lacquer in a spray can. Give it 3 or 4 coats.
Go for the fast drying polyurethane. Make sure it's water based. Will not yellow.
Agree water-based poly doesn't yellow. Avoid oil-based as it does yellow. I've never used any poly on canvas though, only on wood, metal, and paper mache. It should be fine but maybe do a test on spare canvas.
Thank you all.

It's so beautiful, Amy!
Thank y’all, again!
what a beautiful plaque! Use spray lacquer or water based poly. Do NOT use oil based poly as it WILL YELLOW.
