A worm farm, compost bin, storage bucket, dog food storage, storage for chicken scratch, storage for anything you don't want mice getting into, nice place to keep extension cords or xmas bulbs and lightening.
If you store any food item be sure to tie on lid especially if it's left outside in shed or garage. Many animals can figure out how to take off lid to get to food.
