You can add vinegar and clean your drains
Use as a cleaner
I have heard of all of these uses for baking SODA but not baking POWDER. ( which I believe is baking soda plus cream of tartar, and loses its value for baking after about 6 months). Is the POWDER usable for everything listed here?
You can use the baking soda as a scrubbing agent...it works great to get the stains off the bottom of coffee or tea mugs. Then use the cans as storage bins for small items you want to keep handy on your desk or in the kitchen. Just paint the cans or add contact paper to make them more decorative. They could also provide the kiddo's some fun play time.
Good to use on surfaces that can't take a lot of scrubbing. This is a more gentle item to use.
Baking powder and baking soda can still be used beyond their expired date.
Go to a search engine and find out how to test your baking powder and baking soda. You'll find baking websites that will show you how to test those two leveling ingredients.
It would be good as a gentle cleaner, not very abrasive.
Hello, hope this helps you out, even though it's expired, you can use them for cleaning.

Add it to paint you want to use to give a textured look maybe?
You can add a little baking powder to toothpaste, then brush with it. If the powder is good, it will make your toothpaste foamy. This is especially good for anyone who feels like toothpaste is too hot. It changes the ph to one closer to your mouth.
Use it as cleaning agent instead of Baking Soda (Bicarb)
