Try Exhale from Benjamin Moore, a very pretty blue.
All pale colors work. Choose color from a pattern you use in the room to coordinate it. Like if you have a beachy looking rug, sofa pattern, pillows. Choose from there.
Hi Patricia, I'd suggest either a light sand color or a very pale blue. If you go to the paint department in a home improvement or paint store and gather samples in those to colors you'll get a feel for which way you'd like to go. My thought would be to go with the sand color, so if later you want to go beachless, you wouldn't need to repaint.
I'm in love with Valspar's Oyster Pearl. It's a calming neutral shade. Not white, not cream, it's actually a warm white to which you can add pops of color to enhance your beach decor. Shades of seaglass colors will always work in addition to drift wood tones. Best of luck.
This site not only tells you the name of the color but also shows you what the shades look like: https://www.thespruce.com/best-beach-inspired-paint-colors-797960
I would choose a blue-green color. Best advice I can give is to get a sample and try it before committing to an entire paint job.
The paint section of your local home improvement store will usually have little booklets of paint chips in themes, maybe try picking a few of those up as there’s likely a beachy theme.
