Hi DOris, quite a few of our hometalkers have made birdbaths. Maybe one of these projects will inspire you - https://www.hometalk.com/search/posts?filter=birdbath
Hi Doris! Here are some ideas to get you started: https://www.hometalk.com/search/posts?filter=bird%20bath
your bird bath needs a stand to hold a bowel. I went to a big box diy store, found a plastic pedestal, on sale, parked a large metal bowl on it. called it good.
I took a plastic flower pot, filled it with dirt, then put a large flower pot saucer on top. Birds love it and it stays outdoors all winter.
Hi Doris, here are a few ideas, hope they help you out.

keep in mind what ever you use to make your birdbath you MUST keep it clean. Dump it daily and add fresh water. Mosquitos lay eggs every day and the larvae with hatch in 23 to 48 hours.
