You will need a scraper with a long handle to do this job. No blending over.
Goo Gone and a sponge to remove the adhesive.
possibly try nail polish remover
Caulk remover works great. Spray it on let sit for 3 minutes then scrape right up.
Most adhesives can be removed with an oil of some sort. Try baby oil if you have it, other oils work well to break down the gummy adhesives as well.
Apply the oil to the glue and rub it with a soft cloth or paper towels. The glue will begin to dissolve and release from the surface.
