I make trivits out of wine corks and picture frames. I use a 11X16 frame with a backing and use wine corks (either the same brand or a variety) . I hot glue the corks to the backing and give them as house gifts. They are really appreciated.
Hi Marlene. Use them as a bulletin board. My niece has a small wall above her desk in the kitchen. The previous owners glued corks on the entire wall. She uses thumb tacks and uses it as a bulletin board. It helps her to stay organized.
Here's what I did with mine:

If White Wine use a Shimmer Voile as backing .
If Red Wine ise Deep Red Velvet as a backing.

Stain some of the cork to make letters for monograms. Get a cool letter template, use a marker to outline then stain, or paint.
