It is all I use. It kills mold. Mix with hydrogen peroxide and you have a great disinfectant.

vinegar is an acid- a mild one. its very useful, it's great on lime deposits and some molds. you can drink it - it wont poison your kids or the pet. and yes it will disinfect.
I've been using vinegar to clean for years. I use a solution of 1/3 vinegar mixed with 2/3 water in a spray bottle to clean in the bathroom - mirrors, countertops and around the toilet. Apparently it disinfects some bacteria but not others. Use hydrogen peroxide, as well, for a thorough cleaning.
