lol, My go to for rings has been tooth paste on an old tooth brush for a good scrub. You need to be very careful with opals. I also have some liquid cleaner for silver and gold jewelry that I found at Walmart. It comes in little jars with baskets inside for your jewelry to go in for a given time depending on the piece. I garden and do dirty little projects so this comes in very handy. Another lol, I took my watch in to be cleaned when I taught PE. The watchmaker looked at me when I came to pick it up and said what do you do lady, work on trucks!
I usually buy an inexpensive jar of jewelry cleaning solution. It comes with a basket to soak your jewelry in, and a small brush, as well.
Hello, It depends on the jewelry , sometimes I use the liquid Connoisseurs Jewelry cleaner with the basket/jar that allows immersion is in the soapy liquid using a small brush to clean out prongs and stones.
Otherwise I like the impregnated cloth to clean my sterling silver and I find that works wonderful too -to buff up bracelets and rings that oxidize and darken.
