When my niece married we got glass vases and put 3 at each table. One has aquarium gravel, 1 water with floating lights, 1 with flowers.

When my daughter married we did rack table differently with a theme of something they liked. Example : beauty and the beast was a 3 candle candelabra, a teapot and cup, and a rose under glass. One was a variety of pretty perfume bottles she had collected. So you could do a table theme for different phases of life. Hobbies, job, family, childhood, cities lived in, travel, etc

We have recently been going through some old pictures with my 90 year old mother in law. She has been so pleased to talk about the pictures and tell us stories that we may have never heard if the pictures had been tucked away in the dusty boxes until after she passed. It is so easy to scan the pictures and make copies to use for these table decorations I have included. It offers a great opportunity to celebrate such a long life and realize all that has transpired in so many years. We have even found pictures of my husbands third great grandparents! I put them in an album for my own children and grandchildren. How many people have pictures of their 4th or 5th great grandparents!

First make sure you use there favorite color in the decorations. Choose your container for the centerpieces. You can use baskets , ball jars , clay pots etc.... Think about how you want it to look and then choose your decorations. It works for me 😀 . Good Luck
