How to coat bottom of dining room chairs so they slide on tile?
I have dining room chairs with wooden legs & they don't slide on our tile floor. The carpeted pads I bought at hardware store keep coming off.
You can either put felt chair slides on the bottom of the chairs or the teflon ones you hammer into the chair legs. True Value Hardware carries them.
Amazon has a few different sets of felt pads to choose from and they also have what looks like socks that you pull up over the leg. Just go to amazon.com and type in "what to put on chair legs so they slide" in the search bar.
Look for a carpet Runner maybe at Home Depot that has rubber on the bottom of it. Something like they have when you go in a store where you can step on a mat once you enter the store. Ollie's has them also.
