How do I repair and paint the concrete patio slab in my back yard?
I need to fix cracks in my concrete patio. They need repair so they won’t crack again under stress or erosion. Then I’d like to paint with a non-slip sealer/paint.

First, if you have a water or erosion problem, you have to address it or it will crack again.
Also, we painted our back steps and landing a few years ago with a slip resistant and it has scratched and chipped off. If you put chairs on the patio and someone slides them, you could have a problem with it to.
I have always used concrete stain to paint on concrete. It won't peal and is easy to wash clean.
Powerwash and then repair then paint i put 3 coats on patio slab with concrete paint
Hi Ricki, You can fill wide cracks with concrete crack filler in a caulk tube. Then you can resurface the slab.
