How do I stop a facuet from leaking?
I have to turn my faucet to one side so it doesn't drip. Do I need to put a new one on ?

Hi Kelly, It is probably the washers in the faucet handles. If you replace them it should take care of the problem. Here is a video to show how to do it.

Most faucets these days have cartridges inside that can be easily replaced by removing the handle and pulling the old cartridge straight up. Start by identifying the mfr of your faucet. Model number is handy too, but you can simply take a picture of it on your phone and head to your local hardware store. Or you can take one of the old cartridges with you for comparison. Someone there will help you identify which cartridge kit you need. The kit contains the tool you need to easily pull the cartridge out and replace it.
