dishwasher leaves soap scum on plastic containers and sometimes on silverware. I have cleaned screens and filters inside washer and it didn't make a difference

  • May also be hard water deposits too. I run the dishwasher with white vinegar periodically. See if these help.

Also check your owners manual. If you no longer have it, look it up on line and see what the manufacturer recommends.

Tim, you can run the dishwasher empty with a cup of vinegar in it. But it almost sounds like you have a problem with the water pump or the sprayer jets.

After making sure the dishwasher is free of any food particles, place a cup of white cleaning vinegar in an open dishwasher safe container on the upper rack and run a short hot cycle. The sprinkle baking soda on the bottom of the unit and run another short hot cycle. This will clean, sanitize, and make it sparkle.

Prior to adding detergent, put one (1) drop of blue Dawn in the dispenser. You will be amazed at how much better your dishes will look, especially glasses and plastic.

In the old days we ran bleach or vinegar and baking soda. Now for my current life we have a 10 year kitchen remodel and I had the dishwasher put in I believe it is five years old clean as the first day how you ask, don’t hook it up just look at it why do I not get someone to finish the kitchen because of will. Will get to it, will get er done, and wills partner Donno pushme.
