How to remove scratches from a wood floor?
Recently, the stove had to be pulled out and in doing so it scratched the wood in front of the stove. They are not deep scratches.

Hi Sylvia, Minwax has blend and fill pencils and wood finish stain markers. You can find these at about any home improvement center. Just choose one that best matches your wood finish. I have both and keep them on hand for quick fixes. I also have wood floors in my kitchen. My husband cut some strips out of thin fiberboard which we place in front of each side of the stove or refrigerator when we need to move them out for maintenance or cleaning. We store them in the basement/garage until we need them. He also cut strips for the appliances to sit on, so they don't actually sit directly on the floor surface during day to day use. We place the other strips I mentioned earlier in front of these when moving the appliances so it is a seamless transition, which eliminates any lifting. Just slide appliance from it's resting place onto the additional strips. This has prevented damage to our floor from moving appliances. Hope this helps.
