How do you get rid of glue/putty on a door?
Moved into a new home. It appears on the outside door, a half moon window that they have either tried to glue or putty and it's run down. Was wondering if there is anything I can use to remove it before I paint the door.

Try scraping with a putty knife or a solvent to remove. You didn't say the type of door you have so unsure without more details.
Hi Joy,
My first thought would be to use a straight single-edged razor blade to sheer it off, mainly because we don't know what was used. You could try nail polish remove (acetone) or mineral spirits if you want. One of those might work. Wishing you the best.
Just crack it off with your hand
