How do you get rid of hard water stains around faucets?

Hi Tom. I put vinegar on a old rag or paper towel and let it sit on top of the it for 20 minutes. I then use a old tooth brush and scrub the area. Repeat if necessary. Then I wipe down with a damp paper towel to get the vinegar off.Helpful Reply -

You don't mention what kind of countertop. If not marble or granite soak some paper towels with vinegar and wrap them around the base of the faucet. Let it set for a while. Wipe and rinse. If it is marble or granite make a paste of baking soda and water. Place it around the faucet base and let it dry. Brush/wipe it off.Helpful Reply -

Full strength vinegar. Soak a rag and wrap around faucet. Let soak several hours. The vinegar should dissolve the buildup.Helpful Reply -
