What paint is best to cover a cement patio floor that has water issues? Should it be stained instead of painted?

Paint will eventually peel and look tacky. My vote is for stain. Very hot where I live and the preferred method. Stain just fades over time and easier to refresh when needed.
Stain is less maintenance than paint so that would be my recommendation.
