Why do the lights on both the freezer and refrigerator keep blinking?
Side by side refrigerator freezer lights blink when I open either door.

Mine did that and the maintenance man told me it is a warming that the temperature has changed quickly. So it could be an indicator that your freezer needs some maintenance. Maybe google the make and model. To see which issue it is.
There could be different reasons of this. maybe, you just need to replace the lights if they're pretty old.
A more serious problem could be that there are problems with wiring in your fridge. Then it's better to call a professional.
If there were some temperature differences in the recent time, water could get there and it's causing this blinking. o check this option too.
Are the lights LED or bulb? If the latter, then the bulbs might be loose.
Mine blinked because of !oose bulbs. Good luck.
