You can use left over ceramic tiles for coasters, They can be painted then sealed or you can mod podge a picture or pretty napkin on the top followed by a couple of coats of waterproof mod podge. Wishing you the best.
I have used left over floor tiles for the top of an end table or plant stand. You can also break up tiles and use as mosaic or a mosaic embedded in a stepping stone. Check out this creative idea:
