It is a gel stain and glaze combined in 1 product called Unicorn Spit.
It's amazing stuff Lindy. and it has such a lovely story behind it too ( https://unicornspit-com.myshopify.com/pages/michelles-story ) It's basically a wood stain that smells yummy and it comes in the most amazing colors. We've used it for quite a few of our projects but my favorite is probably this little cupboard we made for our fairy bathroom - https://acraftymix.com/blog/2016/06/16/unicorn-spit-loo/
You can also use it to paint on glass, leather, fabric, well basically anything. After painting it needs to be sealed with an oil based product (tung oil, polyurethane etc.)
It is a water activated non toxic coloured wood stain that can be used on many surfaces. I love glass but they are all great. Here are some of the projects I have done using unicorn spit.

If I don’t focus, I will grab my Unicorn SPiT first, before any of the other types of paint I have. And why not? I can produce sunsets and seashore waves like a real artist! And if I don’t like what I create, I can wash it off and start again. Add an oil-based sealer and it makes my painting look 3D! Give Unicorn SPiT a try. You will be amazed! Jewell
It's a product that combines paint with glaze and can be used for a variety of purposes.
