      Thanks so much for the information! I just started scuffing and sanding.

  • I would scuff it up with sand paper, wipe it down and then paint with chalk paint. I like a self-sealing kind, so top coat is optional.

    I agree with Wise Little Owl Furniture. I’d also clean the surface with general purpose cleaner before sanding and painting.
