Is there anything I can put on to protect from chipping paint off?
I’m in process of painting an old men’s dresser and night stand. Sanded, primed and now on 3rd coat of cabinet paint from Lowes. Hope it’s the last coat. Is there anything I can put on to protect from chipping paint off?Have waited 1-3 days between coats.

You can use water based clear urethane. Goes on milky, but dries clear. Don't use oil based, as it will yellow over time. You can also use Latex Glazing Liquid, but it's not as durable as the urethane; it's basically paint with no pigment, and also goes on milky, but dries clear.
Sounds like you’re doing a great job! You could coat it with water based polyurethane to protect it. :)
I would put poly on it last
Yes, I've used this produce, (water based poly) on a painted table top so I could wipe it after each meal. I did 3 coats of the poly.
You can use a furniture wax to seal it or add a coat of polycrylic.
