Hi Cheryl,
You could try a product called CLR, (calcium, lime, rust), this can be found at diy stores, Walmart, of course Amazon. To remove from tiny areas, use a toothbrush.
For the grime, I would use blue dawn dishsoap in water, just scrub it off.
I like Barkeepers Friend spray for rust. You can also dilute vinegar 1:1 with water and spray that. Then wet a washcloth in warm water, wring it out, and lay it on top. It helps the vinegar really break down the grime,
Vinegar. Saturate a cloth with vinegar and wrap around the faucets. Do not use of counters are granite or marble. WD40 and a soft brush will also work.
For the hard to reach spots, I use an old toothbrush and baking soda with water. Works well!
